This Privacy Policy explains what information the Grah Vidya mobile application ("the app", "we", "us") handles, and how. We designed the app to keep your personal astrological data on your own device wherever possible.
To calculate a birth chart (Kundali), the app lets you enter details such as name, date of birth, time of birth, and birthplace. These details are stored locally on your device (in the app's local storage). We do not operate accounts and we do not upload your saved profiles to our servers.
Your birth details are used only to compute your chart, divisional charts, planetary periods (dashas), transits, and related astrological analysis. All of this calculation happens on your device.
The app offers optional AI guidance ("AI Jyotish Scholar" and chart Q&A) powered by Google's Gemini API. When you choose to ask the AI a question:
Data sent to Google's Gemini API is processed under Google's terms and privacy policy.
You may link your own Google Gemini API key so AI requests run on your own account. If you do, that key is stored only on your device. For verification and each requested AI answer, it is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS through the Grah Vidya server to Google Gemini. The Grah Vidya server uses it only for that request and does not retain it in a database, cache, telemetry, or application logs.
When you search for a birthplace, the text you type may be sent to a public geocoding service (OpenStreetMap Nominatim) to convert a place name into coordinates. Only the place text you enter is sent for this lookup.
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
You can delete any saved profile inside the app at any time, and you can remove a linked API key from the app's settings. Clearing the app's data from your device removes locally stored information.
Grah Vidya provides astrological guidance for informational and spiritual purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

यदि आप अपनी Gemini API कुंजी जोड़ते हैं, तो वह केवल आपके डिवाइस पर संग्रहीत होती है। सत्यापन और आपके द्वारा माँगे गए एआई उत्तर के समय वह एन्क्रिप्टेड HTTPS द्वारा Grah Vidya सर्वर से होते हुए Google Gemini को भेजी जाती है। Grah Vidya सर्वर उसे डेटाबेस, कैश, टेलीमेट्री या ऐप लॉग में सुरक्षित नहीं रखता।
